This young bull moose wandered out of the trees as we were about to leave after lunch for Granite Lake. We stayed an watch him play in the lake for over half an hour. At one point he swam across the lake, back to our side, splashing and having a great time. I got several minutes of video of his swimming antics (but no stills). These photographs were taken with a 300 mm telephoto (equivalent to about 420 mm with the Canon 20D), so we never were closer than about fifty yards.
