Most potential avalanche zones were active this year, especially those dropping to the east. This, relatively small avalanche debris zone blocked the lower regions of the Flint Creek Trail, and required a substantial scramble up and around. Karen and Theo have made it to the top and are barely visible in the grassy area above the center of the image.
