Hiking from the Pine Canyon trailhead near Valecito Resevoir, Colorado, it is about twelve miles to the base of Flint Creek Canyon. It is a further seven miles and 2000 feet to hike up Flint Creek to Flint Lake. About halfway up the creek is a section of hidden cascades and waterfalls that slice through the rugged terrain. You have to hike off trail and scout around to find them.
