Rio Grand Pyramid, 13,500 feet, dominates the view from this narrow section of the Continental Divide Trail. The trail continues around the left side of the picture and across the top of the grey tuff cliffs below and on the right. A trail junction just out of site on the right side of the picture provides access to three routes. One descends the valley in front of Rio Grande Pyramid. One leads up and over the saddle immediately below and to the right of the Pyramid. A third leads back to the right, down a broad, meadow-filled valley, Rincon La Osa.
