Rock Lake and Rock Creek Canyon from pass to Moon Lake. This view is from a rugged, boulder-strewn route marked only by cairns that climbs high above Rock Lake (below, left) and continues over a 12,600 foot pass and descends to Moon Lake (behind, and to the left of the picture). Snow usually blocks this route until late June. The route is not shown on Topo maps.
