My daughter and a friend pause on the Tonto Trail for a stunning view of the Colorado 1500 feet below. Grand Canyon National Park, AZ. We are on our way to Hermit Creek and Boucher Creek, beyond. Though the Tonto "Plateau" looks flat from the rim, but in fact climbs and dips constantly.
