From Elbow Lake we are almost back to the trail junction below Shannon Pass. The pass is immediately below and to the left of sharp, Stroud Peak in the middle distance. Our junction is in the low, flatt area across the lake on the middle right of the image. Our return to the Jean lakes will head out of the picture to the right.
