This gorgeous bird occupied a dead snag near the spur road to Fremond Lake Campground near Pinedale, WY. We saw him (or a similar bird) on the same snag last year, but did not have good enough photographic equipment to capture a good image. This was taken with a 300 mm telephoto lens on the Canon 20D.
