Purchase of
Photo Cards and Prints
Products:
Boxed collections of Photo cards make excellent gifts, and
may be ordered for $3.50 each, with a minimum order of six. Images
on the cards may be the same, or any combination of images on this
site. Cards are prepared individually and supplied with envelopes
in a clear-topped gift box holding up to 10 cards. High resolution images
(4x6 inch) are printed on bi-fold, heavy-weight matte
paper with a 5x7 inch face. The inside is blank and is
designed for your personalized message. If you prefer, you may
request during checkout that cards come with an alternative, clear cellophane
envelope instead of the usual paper mailing envelope.
Fine art prints can be ordered in a variety of standard sizes
(see below). A "Buy a Print"
box is displayed on each image page for your convenience. For custom sizes or larger
prints than those listed below, email
me your request. Quality
and guarantee: All
prints, both Photo gift cards and fine art photographic
photographs,
are produced on an Epson™ 2200 photo
printer using seven, genuine Epson™
waterproof, archival Ultrachrome™ inks on Epson™
Enhanced Matte paper. The outstanding photo quality of this
printer has been reviewed by Michael Reichmann on his excellent site, Luminous
Landscape. The rich, full color images are estimated by
Epson to have a lifetime of 70 years. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, email
me within seven days of receipt to receive return
instructions. Ordering:
Credit cards are accepted via Pay Pal. To order a Photo card or print, select the desired item (and size
for prints) from the drop-down menu below each enlarged image. Then click
the "Add to cart" button. A shopping cart will appear in a new browser
window. There you may specify the number of items desired.
Selecting the "View cart" button on each image page brings
up a summary of your selections. When you are done shopping,
select
"Check-out" in the Pay Pal shopping cart window and follow the instructions
to provide your
shipping, email and payment information. During the check-out
process, a field is provided for comments, questions or requests with your order.
For example, for Photo card orders, you may request a clear
cellophane envelope for each card instead of the standard,
parchment mailing envelope. Once an
order is received, you will receive an email confirmation, and
your chosen photo cards or fine art prints will be prepared and
sent. (If the shopping cart does not work for
you, be sure your browser is set to accept "cookies." If
you still have difficulty, contact
me directly.)
Recommendations about print sizes. The camera used and
native file size are listed in the data under each image in the
galleries. The Sony DSC-F707 has an aspect ratio of 4:3; the
Canon 20D, 3:2.
Cropping of prints will be
minimal if you order prints with aspect ratios closest to that of
the native file. For example, minimal cropping of prints will
result from orders of Sony files with dimensions
of 8x10, 9x12 or 11x14 inches. No cropping of Canon
images will result for prints 8x12 and
12x18 inches. Custom sizes can be ordered as well by contacting me directly.
